3D Printed Carbon Fiber Quadcopter Rules the Air

Jim Spencer fell in love with quadcopter in a big way and quickly realized that he wouldn't be satisfied with an off the shelf model. Using carbon fiber rods from inexpensive arrows and his nimble abilities with 3D design and printing he worked to create his own super copter and has shared the process and products through Wevolver. He utilized industry standard dimensions and a modular design so that others can add and adapt as they wish. As with all good makers, he's not done tinkering yet, so follow his progress and make your own! Additional details on this incredible 3D printed quadcopter can be found here, along with a gallery full of images: http://3dprint.com/69318/3d-print-quadcopter-carbon
