    Help with printer

    Any one know why there is reddish plastic discharge from the extruder? I have set the temperature to 220 and retract length to 10mm on prusa i3 while printing PLA. Has anyone encountered this before? Any solution?

    PLA is notorious for oozing. Print at lower temp to lessen the problem, but remember, PLA is PLA, it will ooze!

    Since I would assume you have recently used red filament, not sure what else you'd be expecting.....

    You should only worry about discharge when it's greenish white.
