Zortrax Unveils Professional Inventure 3D Printer

Zortrax, a Polish manufacturer of 3D printers, has just released their Zortrax Inventure. This printer, like the others in the company's line, features an integrated environment for 3D printing which includes cartridge-based materials and the company's copyrighted software. The 3D printer has a 130 x 130 x 130 mm build volume and uses a cartridge-based material delivery system. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/68815/zortrax-inventure-3d-printer/

Great looks like they've gone proprietary filament like all the other sellouts.

    pretty small print volume too.
And then there's the support material (probably pva) which dissolves in a water based solution.

It's all sounding very expensive to both run and buy.

I don't know why anyone would go with a proprietary system when there are so many awesome type's of filament you can buy for so many other printer's. Not to mention the price difference in the main material's has to be pretty big.
