What a surprise, in the midst of so much excitement regarding high-tech 3D printed prosthetic arms for kids, that one child decided to go against the grain. Despite all the headlines about young Alex Pring receiving his Iron Man style 3D printed prosthetic arm directly from Robert Downey, Jr., and his mother’s efforts to get him a 3D printed arm, Thaddeus finally expressed that he was fine without one. He told his mother, Catherine Campbell, that he enjoys the sensation he receives from the wrist portion of his arm, and that he felt like he already knows how to accomplish things.
