Type A Machines Unveils Series 1 Pro 3D Printer 'Print Pod'

Type A Machines is introducing a new high-volume, networked bank of their Series 1 Pro 3D printers called a Print Pod at the RAPID 3D printing conference in Long Beach, California. According to Type A Machines, the Print Pod can make sub-10,000 unit mass production more profitable than traditional injection molding manufacturing. You can read more about the Print Pod over on 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/66785/type-a-machines-print-pod/

now that's pretty ingenious. Decent looking printers as well.
So the machines are $3200 each.

I suspect you'll have to add a couple of thousand for the linkige and cabinet.
Which puts you at around the $35,000 mark for a ten unit setup.
Not to mention you're using standard filament - so muh cheaper material than you'd have to use with a single $30,000plus machine.

I'd say these guys have got themselves a winner.
