Chinese company Stronghero Invest Ltd introduced their patent-pending three color gradient PLA monofilament compatible with any 3D printer. Dissatisfied with the possibilities for 3D printing in a gradient present with currently available filament, company CEO and 3D printing enthusiast Wu Jingyang set out to develop a better product. The first efforts to print the gradient required the operator of the printer to change the filament by hand every 5 to 20 seconds and was an exhausting process.
