Rick Pannen is among the makers exploring the relationship between 3D printing and robotics. Pannen, a freelance hardware and software developer living in Germany, has created a number of impressive creations already, and has recently told 3DPrint.com about his latest project: a 3D printed lamp that follows movement. Using the "Pixy" Motion Tracking Board, Pannen designed a lamp to go with it using Autodesk Inventor to make his Robolamp, and ultimately had it 3D printed by Shapeways. Check out more details on the tracking lamp, including video of its movements, in the full story: http://3dprint.com/64591/robolamp-robotic-lamp/
