Proto BuildBar opened in Dayton, Ohio in November 2013. Six months on, 3DPrint.com's Sarah was able to stop by and check out the makerspace, and talk with Alex Todd, the General Manager, about how business has been going. The innovative establishment has been doing so well that three new locations are already being talked about, with expansions in Pittsburgh, Portland, and Austin looking to be next, and 10 locations on tap by 2017. Sarah also took a look at the setup, making a dragon using on of Proto BuildBar's MakerBot Replicator 2 3D printers (there are 8 of them there, and a further 5 different machines), with the help of the staff.
