    3D Printed Jet Powered SnowBoard

Avid snowboarder Jude Gomila was frustrated after being stuck on flat green areas of the course too many times. Taking matters into his own hands, he used Tinkercad to 3D design a mount for his snowboard. Using his Ultimaker 2, he 3D printed the pieces in four parts, as they were too large for his build area. Once the 3D printed mount was ready for his snowboard, Gomila used it to encase a jet which he modified with a speed controller. After testing and using the board with the jet attached to the 3D printed mount, he made further modifications such as a more flexible layer between the 3D printed mount and the snowboard, as well as additional waterproofing, and more.
