yeah if you hull the thing I posted it looks very similiar.

So how does the unicorn move ?
Have you actually made chess interesting ?
Maybe charge across the whole width of the board spearing any pieces in it's way. A one use per game charge !

I always thought adding a couple of 8 sided dice would help.
Throw both for a square and you'd move the piece nearest that square :-)

There was an article on the radio this morning about why more women don't play chess.
Obviously because it's bloody boring :-)

it is a 3d chess set, 5 stories tall, so with the z axis, there is an extra set of movement rules, so the unicorn fills that. i think it can move laterally the same as a rook, but vertically, moves diagonally edge to edge (as opposed to the rook which moves straight up and down, like an elevator, and the bishop which moves diagonally corner to corner)
