Student Creates Elaborate Glass Creations with 3D Printer

Who knew that a MakerBot 3D printer could be used to create glass. For one RIT student, using his schools MakerBot allowed him to cast custom glass objects which could then be combined with more traditionally manufactured glass to create one-of-a-kind custom pieces.
