3D printing is, more and more often, hitting the runway. Fashion designer Iris van Herpen has embraced what the latest technology has to offer, incorporating 3D printing and laser cutting alongside traditional techniques in her latest collection. Through work with Niccolo Casas, van Herpen created a 3D printed dress in her "Hacking Infinity" Spring 2015 collection, brought into the third dimension by 3D Systems. Working with Noritaka Tatehana, van Herpen also designed shoes using digital technology. 3D Systems will offer accessories based on the "Hacking Infinity" collection, offering them on Cubify.com.
