Genesis Uno & Duo 3D Printers

On April 1st a company called X3D Machines will be launching two new 3D printers on Kickstarter at prices which are almost unbelievable. The Genesis Duo, and the Genesis Uno. Like the names suggest the Duo will have two extruders and the Uno only one. The Duo will be priced $100 higher than the Uno, which puts it still only at $349. More details on these machines can be found here: http://3dprint.com/51942/x3d-machines-genesis-uno-duo

Below are a few of the general specs for both the Genesis Uno and Duo printers:
    • Build Envelopes: Uno - 9"x9"x11"; Duo - 12"x12"x11"
    • Printer Dimensions: Uno - 16"x13.5"x15"; Duo - 17"x17"x15"
    • Print Resolution: 50-300 micron
    • Filament Diameter: 1.75mm
    • Nozzle Diameter: 0.3mm
    • Printable Material: PLA and ABS
    • Build Platform: Aluminum/Removable Polycarbonate

Below is a picture of both machines. Duo on the left, Uno on the right.

Okay, but what's the warranty going to be and how do they plan on supporting them? I'm having problems with my remarkably trouble-prone Printrbot Metal Plus. I love it when it works and support can be really good but the printer is waiting on parts for the 4th time in 2 months and I haven't heard anything since last week. I'm wondering why it will be different for X3D.

I backed the project. Got one of the early bird Duos for $300. Hoping for the best! I have trouble buying parts at these costs. Fully assembled with this volume will be amazing if they can deliver.

A few of my friends and family backed it too. At these prices lots of people are willing to purchase which will be great for 3D printing.

    Can update when it arrives.
