The new CEO of SOLIDWORKS, Gian Paolo Bassi, and Betrand Sicot, the former CEO, lent their expertise through CADD Edge to create and 3D design a fixture to solve an important problem -- how to wrangle the television remote, and make sure kids don't misplace it. The video they made of the process is pretty funny stuff and they used it to demonstrate how a good idea can transition quickly from conception to execution with rapid prototyping, 3D design and 3D printing. Bassi replaced Sicot as the CEO of SOLIDWORKS, and Sicot was promoted to his new position with Dassault Systèmes.
