The technical name of the material is TPU 92A-1, and it's a thermoplastic polyurethane which is essentially a flexible, rubber-like option for 3D printing excellent for bracelets, fashion accessories, or even scale-model tires -- and it's available from i.materialise. Now the company is offering a natural white color option for this material, in addition to the already-available black-dyed version. While the company says the rubber-like options give designers the freedom to print objects up to 32 x 27 x 30 cm, there is a catch: they can't currently sell - or even distribute - objects made from these materials in the United States yet.
