Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, the founders of digital design studio Nervous System say their Radiolaria app lets designers build decorative items based on natural forms. Nervous System was responsible for the 3D printed Kinematics Dress that they introduced in December. Their Radiolaria app, inspired by microscopic cellular structures, lets designers of varying skill levels develop their own bio-inspired patterns by experimenting with a physics simulation. The web app lets a designer morph a hexagonal mesh to build intricate patterns for output as jewelry or decorative objects.
