Job, Joris, and Marieke represent a successful animation studio, founded in 2007 in the Netherlands -- so successful, in fact, they are recently returned from the Academy Awards, where one of their short films was nominated for an Oscar. The designers got in touch with 3DPrint.com to tell us about a project they're working on for an installation called MOVE ON...! at the Kunsthal KAdE in the Netherlands. Their installation, 'FREEZE! an adventure in 100 frames' is based on a 100-frame CGI film they made, and represents the entire mini-adventure in one 3D printed sculpture. The static statue illustrates the entire animation all at once, and by 3D printing it, viewers are able to better connect with the CGI animation process that went into the work.
