French inventor and entrepreneur Sylvain Huet is an engineer and entrepreneur whose latest invention, 3D Slash, received the Gold Medal at Concours Lépine. Now Huet has announced a series of partnership deals with 3D Hubs, i.materialise, and Sculpteo to let the world know about 3D Slash, his 3D modeling software aimed at non-designer users. The software application is based on a block concept similar to building in Minecraft, and is married to a web-based interface which lets users have their creations printed via a group of service bureau options or download the STL files to 3D print locally.
