My 5th is driving me insane (Filliment jams)

Ever since the last update I haven't been able to print anything properly.

It seems every time the extruder travels it pulls back I understand that.

The problem I'm is that I'm constantly getting filiment jams because of this Its driving me god damn insane.

Are any other makerbot 5th people having this issue?


I'm really getting sick of this shit.



I'm not looking for people telling me how shitty the 5th is.. Just looking for help

This is a widely known issue, call support and ask for a retrofitted head.

This issue was related to Firmware 1.6 and it vanish with latest upgrade of firmware 1.6.2
This was the case with my 5th at least...

I'm no expert and I don't own a 5th gen but it seems to me the articles are quite clear : it's far more than juste firmware.
