How do you find things on Thingiverse?

I know it sounds like a dumb thing to ask, but how do you search for something specific on Thingiverse?

What do you enter into the Search section?

It's really quite simple. Just go to Thingiverse.com and you'll see a search box at the top of the page. Just type in there exactly what you are looking for. For example, if you type in iPhone, you get this: http://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=iphone&sa=

Depends what I'm looking for, I treat it like google and search for plain text entries as burnitdownbaby suggested, the way the pages update and autoscroll is annoying but it's generally easy to find what you need. Also enter incorrect spelling if you can't find it using correct spelling.

example, the word Gimbal... people spell things like Gimbal or Gimble... sometimes just changing your spelling of a word (nomatter how incorrect lol) can offer a totally different result. Their search engine is based off whole keywords, not letters.
