We've seen some very impressive toys emerge from 3D printers, and designs are becoming every more complex and impressive. Australian designer Luke Ditria, of Facetious Designs, has recently created a wind-up toy car that is printed all in one piece. Using Shapeways' SLS 3D printing service, the car can move forward about 50 cm after being wound one of two ways. Either pulling the car back or winding it with a key in the side will provide the spring power for the car, and Ditria still hopes to work out a few more design kinks. The car is available on Facetious Designs' Shapeways and Etsy shops. Find out more about this design in the full article: http://3dprint.com/47362/3d-printed-wind-up-car/
