Some people have great luck on their first creation when they enter into the maker movement, and other projects require a few more iterations. Instructables user William (W1ll4m) recently posted his first design to the site, and it's already his second iteration of the project. This robot enthusiast has created his own Lego-based 3D printer driven by EV3 motors, and it prints using a glue gun. While the design is still not necessarily useful for creating intricate or detailed 3D printed objects, it's clearly come a long way since the first version, created mere months ago. At this pace, the third generation of his Lego EV3 3D Printer will clearly have even more to offer.
