Last night, the Dragon supply capsule splashed back to Earth after 29 days attached to the Harmony lab on the International Space Station, bringing with it almost $3,700 pounds of research cargo. Among the Dragon's cargo were 3D printed objects created on the ISS's 3D printer. With 3D printing appearing an ever-more viable technology for space exploration, the objects brought to Earth will provide valuable information about how space-made objects hold up and compare to the same objects 3D printed on Earth.
