Brandeis University in Boston is becoming of hotbed of 3D printing education due in part to the effort of the university's Deis3D Lab. Run by a group of students, Deis3D is aimed at reaching out to students to give them a leg up when it comes to cutting-edge technologies like 3D design, scanning, printing and robotics. The even happens during the weekend of March 7, and the organizers say the 24-hour challenge is open to students from any university.
