3D Printed Snow Tracks for Rc Vehicle

RC vehicle enthusiast Tim Giles wasn't content to let the winter put an end to his hobby time -- so he adapted by creating his own 3D printed RC snow tracks. While he liked the idea of the Predator Tracks available for RC vehicles, they weren't in his budget. Giles designed his own snow tracks in Designpak Mechanical, which took four revisions and about a week and a half before ready to print, using ABS on his UP! Mini 3D printer. He has made the files available for free download on Thingiverse, as they are compatible with 1/10 scale RC vehicles of a few varieties. Check out more details on Giles' work and other accomplishments in the full article: http://3dprint.com/42028/3d-printed-snow-tracks/

Cool idea but looks like he needs fatter tracks to handle the weight of the car.
