French digital artist Claire Sauvaget conceptualizes the urban experience -- particularly the sometimes seemingly mindless trudge of the daily commute -- with her Mental Map, three 3D printed diagrams. The diagrams, printed in white ABS, transform the various activities of her commute, from climbing stairs and navigating crowded sidewalks to the swift passage of a train car through subway tunnels into 3D printed sculptures that resemble nonsensical machines or children's marble tracks.
