Southwestern University is sponsoring an upcoming symposium/exhibit "What Things May Come" that invites speakers from medical, scientific, industrial and fine arts backgrounds to address 3D printing's impact on various fields. In conjunction with the symposium is a digital sculpture exhibit featuring many new and more established artists using 3D printing. Professor of Art Mary Hale Visser holds the Brown chair and has been instrumental in organizing this symposium/exhibit (along with Ars Mathematica's Christian Lavigne) -- which begins on February 4th -- with the speaker portion of the Brown Symposium occurring on February 26-27, 2015.
