Industrial designer Brian Cera was inspired to 3D print the Glove One smartphone after coming across information regarding how technology is changing behaviors, and how many of us almost treat the smartphone like another limb. After a couple of months in designing the electronic wearable art, Cera used his girlfriend's hand as a model for designing the CAD files which are available as a free download and can be customized to fit anyone's hand. He sent the files out for 3D printing as they required high resolution, and once he had them in hand, set out to do some fairly complex wiring and soldering. The 3D pieces required some sanding and painting and final assembly, upon which Cera produced a completely functioning 3D printed wearable smartphone glove.
