The momentum of e-NABLE just keeps on going, with their latest venture hinging on grant money from The Genesis Generation Challenge, backed by former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, along with some other hoped-for grants and funds. While they won’t know until February if they will receive the funds, they have put together an entire plan for supplying 3D printed hands to hospitals in Haiti, as well as training technicians to 3D print themselves so that when the volunteer crew leaves after their final project, the hospitals will be able to produce both traditional and 3D printed hands or arms on their own.
