I've had issues with the teeth on the hobbed bolt being clogged with old plastic. Maybe check that.

What material are you using?

It could also be a partial nozzle clog.

I just upgraded to those exact Lead screws on my 10" i3v. I used 400 steps. Works perfectly. So glad I did this upgrade (my threaded rods were pretty bent after a recent move.)

Is there an advantage to go with this MOSFET over an SSR? Particularly with the standard 10inch makerfarm heated.

I had a similar issue, it ended up being the wiring to the switch was getting pulled while extending the arm. Marlin thought it was triggered so it never touched the glass.

Is there a stable firmware that has ABL working?

Have the bugs been worked out of the firmware with ABL? I had the air-printing issue so I just reverted back to stock. Would really like to get that ABL going.
