Interesting enough my latest print has the same problem that you described. The plastic is from Orb Polymer and it is their Snow Leopard PLA. Before now the spool has been a nice white color but...

I changed the defaults to 80 which will probably be safer on the high side for those that don't know or care what the VREFs are doing.

The cable chain doesn't make any noise that I can hear. I think the cable chain looks better than techflex mainly because it was printed with the printer.

But it definitely does not look as cool. :)

They are not the best solution but many people have had good success with them so I believe your statement of "you might as well not even try them" is in error.

I second WD40. It works well on Acrylic also without fogging up the glass.

Try this one, it should work with 1/8" glass. Also the CAD files are included in Solidworks and IGES format.

Looks like you can map a drive to the SD card. I think I need to order one.

I don't believe so. The machine would be considered a peripheral which would sink the current not source it.

This is one option for smoothing, haven't tried it yet but it looks interesting.

I took too long to respond (distractions from kids) cncartist you beat me to it. :)

Make sure the plugs to the steppers are fully seated. If the connection is intermittent then you could get skips on the steppers.



Are you using enough hairspray? A thin coat doesn't do it,...
