Renishaw, Aeromet Collaborating to Establish Aluminum-Copper Alloy Parameters

Renishaw and Aeromet have announced a collaboration working to establish additive manufacturing parameters and material properties for the unique A20X aluminum alloy that Aeromet developed. Through the partnership -- results of which are expected to be shared in the coming months with customers -- the companies will determine appropriate settings for the high-strength aluminum-copper alloy, which is designated for applications in aerospace, automotive, defense, and other demanding industries.
