3D Printing Spotlight on Dr. Dee Dee Wang

Dr. Dee Dee Wang heads up medical 3D printing applications in the Henry Ford Medical Group. Her team specializes in working with cardiac patients deemed too high-risk for open heart surgery, and has had to work with only four standard valve sizes for use in patients who are not four-sizes-fit-all. CAD modeling and 3D printing is helping Dr. Wang and her team to better understand, plan, explain, and execute cardiac procedures at the Detroit-based hospital system.
