Out of nowhere maker select 3d print is curing in middle

It was printing perfect for about 10 prints and then this (See pics) I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I'm printing w/ PLA. I'm using the bed cover piece that came w/ the printer. I've tried re leveling the bed using a piece of paper w/ slight drag at 6 points, a bunch of drag and zero drag and it has not made any difference. I've tried 3M tape w/o any bed heating, I've tried different bed temps from 50-70 w/o any change This is the initial layer so the print speed is 30mm/s. Infill speed is 100mm/s. Initial layer thickness is .3mm, initial layer line width is 100%. Bottom/top Fill is .6mm, Shell thickness is .8mm. I need your expert opinions to figure this out. The print head cooling fan is on but the fan at the very front of the printer is not on but it never was even when it was printing perfect.

Does this appear to just be an adhesion propblem? Maybe not something w/ my height, feed rate, etc? What If I increase bed temp to say 70 or 80?

My first inclination is adhesion. You said you had perfect prints prior to this happening, and with out changing any settings, you started to get fails. So unless you can find another variable that has changed, the only thing that comes to my mind is your build surface is getting less sticky in that location. There might be cleaning instructions for the bed material, try that. Try shifting your print over some.

Make yourself a list of possible fail points and create a check list of things you might change to eliminate each fail point one at a time. That way you can isolate the exact fail point and figure out a fix.

I've had bad luck with blue tape, but blue tape with glue stick is almost too good.

I tried to clean it, i tried to use blue 3M tape and I've also tried the pad that came w/ the printer which worked flawlessly before. From what I've read I want .1mm between the printhead and platform correct? I've even got as far as dissembling the nozzle and clean it to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. I've only been 3D printing for less than a week so I'm really clueless here. I'm very mechanically inclined and logical so i've gone through everything I can think would cause it in my head and I'm out of ideas. I've take my dial indicator and affixed it, zeroed it at ~.1mm spacing and wen around the perimeter and gotten it as close as I could. I am really at a loss.

I should note that at around this time I was trying to get Cura 2.4 to print via usb so I was advised to remove all versions which I did. It's possible some settings w/in cura got changed but I'm unsure what. I'm now back to Cura 15.04.6 and I "think" i have all the settings as they were but I cannot be certain.

Well, consider this part of your learning curve, and welcome to the club. Well, if you properly leveled the bed, and it seems you have, then yeah, I'm going to go with an adhesion issue. I'll go back to my first response. Try a glue stick. Maybe other's can take a look at your settings and have a better guess.
