Metamason Completes $3 Million Seed Funding for 3D Printed CPAP Masks

Metamason, an up and coming startup in the 3D printing industry, is meeting with even greater success today as they announce the completion of their $3 million series seed financing round. The financing raise was led by 3P Equity Partners, a manufacturing-focused private equity firm located in San Jose, and Tsing Capital, along with almost a dozen individual angel investors located throughout the country. They will use the funds to gain FDA clearance and begin clinical trials. A crowdfunding campaign is set to begin later this year as well as expanded marketing for early 2017.
