UAE Outlines Extensive 3D Printing Policy to Include Homes

One would be hard pressed to find an area more obviously committed to 3D printing—and very serious about having an outlined strategy at that. In a recent coming together of UAE notables, a multi-tiered strategy was presented by Sheik Mohammed, who was joined by the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. Together they explained and gave enormous support for the 3D printing strategy which will employ the technology in the areas of construction, the medical field, and consumer goods.
