Brian Jordan Develops Low Cost 3D Printed Finger Prosthetics

When Brian Jordan lost part of his index finger and thumb in a saw accident, he looked around for finger prosthetics and found that the options were extremely limited. He has since set about to change that by developing a low-cost, 3D printed alternative that he hopes to have ready for testing and then FDA registration. To speed up the process and to streamline production, Jordan has partnered with University of Maryland's MakerBot Innovation Center who have helped him make progress toward his goal.
