3D Printing is the Centerpiece at Istanbul's Taksim Square

The striking, temporary installation, Serra Gate, a modular sculpture designed with Mathematica software and modeled using 3D printing technology, is currently a centerpiece in Istanbul’s thriving city center, Taksim Square. The Square made headlines last year as it was the site of major protests in the struggling democratic republic of contemporary Turkey. Serra Gate, an homage to Minimalist sculptor, Richard Serra, was designed by cutting-edge architectural firm Global Architectural Development (GAD), an Istanbul- and New York City-based, world-renowned firm that incorporates 3D printing in its process and designs. It seems that you've mixed Turkey and Istanbul in that sentence :"It was this inlet that made sea trade possible and converted Turkey into a major hub and cosmopolitan city." Turkey is not a city , it is country..;)

Turkey likes to think of itself as a country but will never be so until it has freed the lands that it occupies illegally. At that time it will be around a quarter of the size it currently claims.

You think Turkey is a quarter city. If so , then come and take whichever the lands you meant if you are capable of it.
