Another Beginner looking for printer recommendations.

I appreciate this must get asked many times a day, but assume everyone's circumstances and requirement are different, so thought I would make a post!

I'm in the UK with a budget of around £400/$630, and am looking for a printer on the smaller size, will mainly be using it for prototyping things like small enclosure before getting them fabricated in steel/aluminium, and smaller components like custom battery sledges (so a print area of 200x200x200mm would be really nice, but would consider smaller) .

I would rather have something that can print on a higher resolution then print quickly as I will be working with very tight tolerances, and a printer that is relativly easy to set up, but with the option of printing upgradable components.

Which is an irpusa i3 base - so plenty of both knowlege and files for upgrading around.

Don't sweat too much on accuracy and print resolution. No desktop pr9inter will exactly duplicate the models' measurements.
After a few prints you learn your particular printers foibles and adjust accordingly.
So you can generate models down to a few hundreths of a millimetre with any of the above.

realistically for that price you're looking at an i3, kit or built a delta kit or a makerbot clone.
All of which will do the job :-)

Will take a look at some reviews of the i3 and makerbot clones (Is the flashforge creator a makerbot clone, and the CTC brand printers too?).

I based right down south in sunny Hastings!

Once again thank you for all the help.

Think I'm going to pull the trigger on a Duplicator i3 as it seems to be ready to go out the box (a plus as its will be my first 3D printer), and already have the heated bed (and the print the reprap printable components to make another one from kit :D hardware!).

But, just wondering if the flashforge creator is going to give me any significant advantages over the i3, other then the two extruder's for the sake of £75?
