Sigma Labs and Arete Innovative Solutions Form JV For 3D Printable Metals

A deal that sees a newly formed joint venture company between Sigma Labs and Cincinnati-based Arete Innovative Solutions - Arete-Sigma LLC – will see the companies join forces in an effort they say will make them providers of a comprehensive metal solution for the additive manufacturing market. The venture plans to offer a full suite of services which will include design, prototyping and manufacturing of highly precise, advanced metal components. Sigma Labs provide technology designed to monitor the metal fusion process on a layer-by-layer basis, and Arete Innovation Solutions are pioneers in the metals AM process and specialists in creating custom-designed solutions.
