Learn How a Lock Works Thanks to 3D Printing

Finnish maker and lockpicking hobbyist Ceravyn (or Sara) designed a functional model of a standard pin tumbler lock mechanism and has shared it on Thingiverse. The model includes an open cut away wall that allows users to see how the pin tumbler mechanism works, and can help other lockpicking hobbyists refile their skills. The model was designed entirely in Solidworks and 3D printed in PLA with ballpoint pen springs acting is the pin springs.
