3D Printed Battery Emulator
Electronic engineer Philip Crump was frustrated when he discovered that the battery in his camera would only function for a fraction of its usual time when it got too cold. So Crump called on his friends at a local MakerSpace to lend him a hand building a 3D printed camera battery emulator he designed in OpenSCAD. The battery pack needed to operate in the chilly environment high above the ground for a ballooning project Crump was working on, so he designed his device to take power from a battery already on board on the balloon.
