A Race With Cars & 3D Printed Leg Lamps

There's a growing culture building among people who believe it's more rewarding to make something yourself than buy it in a store, and the team at The Forge in Greensboro, NC, are among them. The Forge decided to sponsor an RC car race that would showcase their capabilities and give people a laugh, so they came up with what they called The Grand Fragile (Fra-gee-lay) Finale. Each RC car was decked out with a 3D printed, 7"-tall replica of the iconic Leg Lamp from the movie "A Christmas Story."
