Pre-Orders For Next 3D Printed Local Motors Car Open Next Month!

Arizona-based Local Motors has finally made an announcement we've all been waiting for: starting next month, the company will be accepting pre-orders for the very first 3D printed cars. Via a campaign run on Indiegogo that will launch in late October, Local Motors will be making available a few models of its all-electric Reload Redacted car. Prices will vary from around $18,000 to $50,000 based on speed capabilities. The first versions will make their way to roads in early 2016, with high-speed highway versions set to get into garages by the end of next year.
