Back in 1942 when Norman Edmund started his company selling chipped and leftover war surplus optics, little did he know how thoroughly a part of the American experience he and his company would become. Now a company which spun off from Edmund Scientific, Edmund Optics, has signed a deal with 3D printing and additive manufacturing pioneers LUXeXceL to create cutting edge plastic optical components for a variety of applications.
