Ancient Heritage Monuments to Be Preserved Via 3D Printing at Dubai Museum

The Museum of the Future in Dubai, set to open sometime in 2017, is definitely all about having momentum and vision. While currently the foundation for the museum has undertaken a $136 million endeavor in building the facility, to include substantial construction with 3D printing, they are also already looking toward projects. While they plan to build both an innovation and invention hub at the museum, they will also be working on a project to take digital images of millions of historical artifacts and catalog them in a massive database.
