New to printing <

hi , recently bought a cheap 3d printer off ebay and assembled it and downloaded some software (cura and repeteir ) and hit print all x ,y and z motors move but extruder doesn't feed pla out and hot end not hot , confussed what is going on went threw config on printer and it says dry run is on and when I try to turn it off and just comes back on a second later , but I can turn it off on repetier and it stays off but I don't know if the software over rules the printer setting .whats the troubles shooting procees from here , thanks

Something may be miswired or broken with the thermocouple and / or wiring.
Can you do a test heatup or another way you can get a reading from the hot end?

do you have a control panel ?
In which case have you managed to load filament so that it actually extrudes ?
