Removing Kidney Tumors Thanks to 3D Printed Models

Stratasys is leading the pack when it comes to 3D printed kidney models in France. At the University Hospital in Bordeaux, differently colored kidney models are being used for three things: to prepare the surgeon, to train students, and to communicate with patients. These models are being printed on Stratasys Objet500 Connex3 printers with great success. It looks like we'll being seeing many more 3D printed kidney models as the idea is sure to catch on.
