Autodesk recently announced that the long-anticipated Project Dreamcatcher will be taking generative design capabilities commercial, with inclusion in the upcoming release of Netfabb 2018. Generative design goes beyond topological optimization, bringing machine learning and AI into the equation to create wholly new processes.
