Singapore's Major Bioprinting R&D

Singapore, through numerous entities, is making an entry into the world of bioprinting, and it could prove to be big as institutions like Nanyang Technological University and their Singapore Centre for 3D Printing throw their hats in the ring with R&D along with companies like Bio3D. While most agree that organ transplantation is possible, it is definitely agreed upon that research is the key as bioprinting is just evolving from its initial stages of inception. While companies founded in Singapore are very involved in bioprinting, so is mega-corporation Proctor & Gamble, who in connection with the Singapore government’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research has just launched an initiative seeking proposals for grants regarding the technology.
